From the time when I was little I loved fashion and wanted to be a designer. At a very young age of 12, I started sewing garments for my dolls. At that age I wanted to be a fashion designer. I would tear my old clothes or cut them off just to make something pretty for my dolls. I had more fun than I did playing outside. I watched shows like TYRA BANKS show when I was young but only because models like her inspired the designs for my dolls. I was always so fascinated by the style that she had and how she even managed to work with the attitude the clothes braught.

In 2003 I discovered about VALENTINO the Fashion Designerand I was swept. To some people, loving clothesmust seem very silly, and maybe it is. But beautiful clothes, and the work that goes into them, has always been a source of awe for me. Up until today I love the Valentino Fashion Group and I also still watch the FASHION.TV all day when I have nothing else to do at home.

Sadly that was not a career path for me. But fashion doesn’t just have to be couture, ready to wear can be beautiful and fashionable. Real fashion sense is about giving something ordinary a special twist and turning it into something special. It’s what makes vintage clothing so popular these days, it’s about taking something old and giving it a new life and a new look. The fashion bug bit me as a kid. I still have it. I still love it, and I guess I’ll be enjoying fashion for a long, long time, and so will my girls.
